Vision
Kingdom Academy is a 4-month discipleship journey designed to help believers build a strong foundation for a revival lifestyle — a life marked by passion, prayer, purity, and power.

By God’s grace, Pastors Brian and Laura Warth have carried the fire of revival for over 30 years. Through perseverance and faithfulness, they’ve produced lasting fruit that glorifies Jesus. Out of their personal walk with God comes Kingdom Disciple Academy — a space for direct impartation, mentoring, and transformation.

This inaugural class is a personal discipleship pathway led by Pastors Brian and Laura, equipping you to walk in revival and carry God’s presence into every area of life.

Preaching and worship are the epitome of spiritual warfare.

We support our preachers and worship team by sitting up front during service.
We also support them by engaging in the sermon and worship.

When one is preaching or leading worship, it's a fierce battle.
It's a heated grappling fight right before our eyes.  
We must view it as such.

Don't look at it as "just" another sermon or song.
If you do, you will not support them.

In the world, when your friend got in a fight, you didn't just watch.
You cheered him/her on - Fight! Kick! Bite!
If you were radical, you jumped in.
Or at least faked like you were helping.

Let's support our preachers and worship leaders by sitting up front.
Let's give an "Amen" or a "Praise God" once in a while.  

Let's hold up their hands as Aaron and Hur did Moses.
Exo. 17:11 - 12 - "As long as Moses held up his hands, Israel prevailed; but when he lowered them, Amalek prevailed. When Moses’ hands grew heavy, they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. Then Aaron and Hur held his hands up, one on each side, so that his hands remained steady until the sun went down."

We believe in the principal of tithing to empower our life-giving church.
Tithing is giving back to God 10 percent of what we receive.

Pro. 3: 9-10 (TLB) - “Honor the Lord by giving him the first part of all your income, and he will fill your barns with wheat and barley and overflow your wine vats with the finest wines.”

We tithe as a form of worship to God.
We tithe to keep God at the center of all we do.

We are at mid-year.
I encourage you to evaluate your giving.
Maybe some of us need to catch up on our giving to the Lord?

TITHING TESTIMONY:
Pastor Benny Lopez went through years of financial difficulties.
He lost his job and even house.
But he remained faithful in his tithing to God.
He even up'ed his tithe to about 12%.

Today, Pastor Benny is experiencing prosperity.
He has a new job where he is at the top of sales on some months.
He's able to give more to the advancement of God's kingdom.
He credits his overflow to the faithfulness' of God responding to his tithing.

Let us give generously to the Lord.

We should consider everyone as we move forward.

We will continue to "test" how effective it is to have both indoor service and outdoor services. Outdoor services are primarily to continue to reach more people for Jesus. We should always position the church to reach more lost people for Jesus. Our sanctuaries are effectively full, and we need bigger space to reach more people.

We will continue the wellness checks at the entrance.  We can minister one-on-one to anyone with flu-like symptoms. It’s not wise to place people with flu-like symptoms in a group within a closed room.
CDC says fully vaccinated people don't need to wear any masks.  We will leave masks optional for people.  And we will not "shame" people who wear masks for extra safety.
Discernment in the moment is key in this. It’s not wise to pray for people directly in their faces.

Let’s remain flexible as we navigate these difficult days.

Recently God has been moving us forward in our vision to open a men's transformation home.
We want to give fresh hope to broken men.
We want to help restore men to their calling in Christ.

Keep this vision in prayer as we move forward in it.
One of our generous church members has committed to providing a home for our men's home.
Recently a 12 room home was purchased in Apple Valley.
The property is now in escrow so we are super excited.

Now we need to secure a men's home director and establish a program for the home.
I'm having meetings this week with consultants. 
God is moving.
Pray we keep step with God. 

Part of our big rock goals in 2021 is to relaunch all aspects of our church.
We still haven't been functioning with full capability.
Many of our ministries have been paused.

I'm pleased to report our relaunch of Carson mid-week Bible study
was a success to God's glory!
Last night over 80 people attended.
We had children ministry and teen ministry too.

Most importantly, the Spirit of God was in the house.

I'm excited for tonight 7:15pm in Paramount.
We relaunch in person Bible study in the sanctuary.
Teens will study in the upstairs fellowship hall.
And we will have children ministry too.

Tonight's Bible study will also be broadcasted via ChapelofChangeTV YouTube.

Let's press on to master this pandemic.

It was such a prophetic picture.

A California prison was brought in to sit on the front row of Chapel of Change on Good Friday. This happened through the gift of technology and a TV monitor.

Chapel of Change partnered with Prison Fellowship to broadcast a worship experience live from our platform to a California prison. It was powerful. 

With this writing, I announce the official closing of our Merced Campus.

For three years Tre and Elda served the community of Merced.

• Opened their home to teach the Bible to kids in the community.
• Hosted outreaches.
• Befriended many community leaders.
• They sacrificed for the advancement of God's Kingdom.

The Gospel seeds they planted will bear fruit for generations to come.

In life and ministry, there are seasons.

We're excited Tre and Elda will now help us relaunch Long Beach Campus.
They have already moved back down to So. Cal.
We are thankful for their hearts for Jesus and His church.

Let's keep their whole family in prayer during this transition.

Recently, we just sent from our church a powerful couple to start Chapel of Change Dallas.
Recently, God just sent us a new powerful couple in the Lord - Vaughn and Yvonne.

They have committed to our church family - celebrate!

They've planted two churches - one in East LA and one in Lancaster.

It's been one year since California was hit with COVID-19.
We have suffered much as a church and shed many tears.
[We are still grieving with our dear Sister Maryann.].

As a church family, last year took relationships from us too.
People stopped serving in church because of concern over COVID.
We grieve relationships temporarily paused and look forward to our reunion soon - more and more are coming back to church.

It's amazing God has been blessing us with new relationships.
We celebrate these new co-laborers in the Kingdom.

Dear Chapel of Change and Friends;

Each year, CoC gives a DOUBLE OFFERING at Easter Weekend.
This “Resurrection Offering” is given in honor of Christ’s death and resurrection.
We sacrificially give because Jesus first sacrificially gave to us.  
 
This year our Resurrection Offering will fund our Youth Ministry.
We recently relaunched our Youth Ministry.
We have new directors with a goal is to have groups at all campus services and mid-week.
To do this, we need new teaching curriculum, office supplies and ministry tools.

Dear Chapel of Change;

Hebrews 11:7 (NET) – “By faith Noah…constructed an ark for the deliverance of his family.”
When we set up for weekend worship gatherings, we're not just “putting out chairs” or “setting up a stage” or “popping up tents.”

The flood of the COVID-19 pandemic is spiritually and emotionally drowning many people.

When we set up for weekend worship gatherings, we're constructing an ark for the deliverance of our cities. Noah had to build an ark, and now it’s our turn to partner with God for the deliverance of others.

Thank you for all your hard work in the Lord.

But something didn’t feel right. The church is not just a sent people, but we're also a gathered people. We've been gathering to worship King Jesus for 2000 years. Depending upon when you lived, you worshipped in the face of fear, death and even lions. Sometimes you worshipped in cemeteries. Sometimes underground.

We felt this was the moment for the church to shine. The world needed the church like never before.



Last weekend, over 1000 people were impacted with the Gospel. Many surrendered to Jesus. We baptized a former atheist. After gathering with us three times, the power of God amongst us convicted his heart. He then made a public declaration of Jesus as King through the waters of baptism.

Sunday my cell phone rang early, about 8am. Normally, I'm preparing to preach during that time so I wouldn't answer calls. But I knew the world is in a time of major chaos and the Holy Spirit was drawing many people to Jesus. I answered.

The man who called started to tell me how he saw our church services online. He said he had been searching and searching for a church alive with the Holy Spirit and was amazed at what he felt when he watched our worship gathering online. He was even more shocked to learn our church was near his home. He had to call to find out what time our worship gatherings were.

He came to our outdoor worship gathering under our revival tent. The Holy Spirit called him out. He began to cry uncontrollably. Tears upon tears began to flow. The Holy Spirit was cleansing his soul. When he opened his eyes, we all began to clap in celebration of his new season of life and journey with the Holy Spirit.

God is still doing special things amongst us in the midst of the pandemic.

That statement stuck with me. I couldn’t shake it. Like Mary, the mother of Jesus, I pondered on what he said. Then I went to the Book of Acts to look at Antioch church to see if I can discover some of similarities.

7. Willing to send disciples to start new works – 13:4

We are experiencing the power of God in our corporate, outdoor worship gatherings. I recently talked to a young lady who was in tears because she felt God was talking directly to her. In fact, our church has been marked by "tears" over the years because people have felt the tangible power of God come upon them.

And we are about to send disciples to start a new Chapel of Change in Dallas, Texas.

I've felt stirred to share with you for days now -
"GOD IS FIGHTING FOR YOU."
Exo. 14:14, "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."

I remember having my parole granted reversed for like the third straight year while at Chuckawalla Prison. It felt like a roller coaster. I was up and then down. Hope filled and then hopeless.

Bummed out, I walked into my class. My teacher asked me what happened. After I told him,, he said something that has stuck with me all this time. He said, "The angels must be wrestling for your freedom."

Man!!!! That pumped faith back into my heart. It helped me to keep believing God.

And so I tell you. You may have had a roller coaster type year. But God is fighting for you! Keep believing. Keep looking up. Keep trusting Him. Your breakthrough is almost here.

Here is a song to go with this word: GOD IS POWERFUL.

The Bible teaches that a STAR led the Magi to Jesus (Matt. 2:9). I'm inclined to believe this wasn't a literal star as we think, but a description of the glory of the Lord, the fire of God.
We see this glory manifested with the shepherds in the field  to announce the birth of Jesus (Luke 2:9). We see the glory again with Jesus on the mountain of transfiguration (Matt. 17:2). We see the glory knocking down Apostle Paul. He said it was brighter than the sun (Acts 26:13). Apostle John saw the fire too in Rev. 1:16. Apostle John reports in his vision of the New Jerusalem that “the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine upon it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb” (Rev. 21: 23).

Some times God will put a fire in front of us, as He did the Magi and as he did Moses (Exo. 3:2). Some times that fire is in a person. Some times that fire is in a church. Some times it's just in our heart. If you ever see it or feel it, you better follow it.

There is a Holy Ghost fire in Chapel of Change. And I believe it's there to help lead you through this pandemic. I encourage you: FOLLOW THE FIRE.

When the Wisemen finally found Jesus, they opened their treasures to give to the King. The Bible reads, "And when they opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh (Matt. 2:11). Gold because Jesus is King. Frankincense because Jesus is God. And myrrh because Jesus is man.

Their giving was a form of worship. It showed their love for the King.

We want to follow the way of the Wisemen. We don't just want to read about them, but do what they did. Experience what they experienced.

It's our tradition to give a Christ-Birthday Offering every December. This sacrificial offering is in honor of the birth of our King. He left everything to join us. He left his privilege and power to experience our pain and set us free. He considered us worth the trip. Praise Jesus!

In the early 1980s, my mom's first born son was shot to death at age 15.
This was devastating to say the least.
For over 30 years my mom had unanswered questions about David's death.
For over 30 years her heart was broken in unexplainable ways.

A few years ago, God did a miracle at Chapel of Change. God brought together David's killer and my mother. It was a powerful gathering. In it, my mom forgave him and prayed over him.
It showed that there is hope for the deepest broken heart with Jesus.

I drove up to church Tuesday to a big surprise.

I saw Pastor Sandy walking toward me with a group of ladies. As we met up, one lady approached me with a big smile saying, "I'm one of your Online Campus members."

She shared she attended the grand opening for our Merced Campus (Shout out to Tre & Elda). Then when the pandemic hit she transferred to our online services and Bible studies. She also completed our 7-week Spiritual Foundation Zoom study. She expressed her gratitude for our online ministry as it empowered her through a difficult season in her life. She was so grateful she drove many hours from Northern California to hand deliver her Special Birthday Offering to our Paramount Campus.

Chapel of Change is on the move in the midst of this pandemic. We are spiritual first responders, giving people the fresh hope of King Jesus & His Kingdom.

October is our church's birthday month. We are so grateful for what God has done and is doing through Chapel of Change. We have seen 1000s impacted with the fresh hope of the Gospel. And yet, the best is still to come. Each October, in honor of our church's birthday, we give a special sacrificial, "Birthday Offering."

I often teach the church, "When God repeats Himself in the Bible, we need to pay super attention because He's trying to help us get something."

Seven times in two chapters, the Bible says, "Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches..." (Rev. 2:7, 11, 17, 29; 3:6, 13, 22).

Reflect on those words, for they are powerful.

I'm convinced the word "ear" means more than just the two physical earlobes on the side of our heads. In Matthews 13:15, Jesus speaks about certain peoples' ears becoming dull. This is about "perceiving" the Holy Spirit's messages to us with our hearts. We are to perceive God's direction for us with our heart, our spirit.

The Holy Spirit has not stop speaking. He is still speaking to us today.
     What is the Holy Spirit saying to us as a church?
     What is the Holy Spirit saying to us as families?
     What is the Holy Spirit saying to us as individuals?

Ephesians 6: 10-11 - "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."

Apostle Paul’s in prison at this moment. Some believe he is chained to a Roman soldier.
The Roman solider is watching over Paul – watching every move he makes.

There is a lesson for us in this relationship between Apostle Paul and the Roman soldier. The devil sends the Roman solider into Paul’s life to intimidate him, maybe even harass him. But God allows the Roman soldier into Paul’s life to teach him a powerful lesson, to give Paul a revelation.

What do you mean teach him? Well, Paul teaches in chapter 6 the powerful revelation of the "Amor of God." Paul teaches on the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of the Gospel, and shield of faith. These are powerful lessons.

Where do you think Paul gets the image of the "Armor of God?" It was from the Roman Soldier! Everything he describes in Ephesians about the armor of God is taken from a Roman Soldier.

What the devil sent into Paul’s life to intimidate him, God allowed to teach him. Wow!

The devil may send things into your life to intimidate you, but God allows things to happen, in part, to teach you a lesson.  If you never go through anything, you’re never learn anything. If you never have a rough time in life, you’ll never learn to trust God.  ARE YOU LEARNING THE LESSON?
